A 3 mile (each way) ride that is mainly off-road. Bruntwood Park offers a Cafe, pitch and put golf, BMX track, meadows, playgrounds and a duck pond. It is operated by Stockport MBC. You will also see lots of planes on approach to (or take off from) the airport.

This gives me an excuse to write about the Manchester Airport Orbital Cycleway.

This 8 mile route is mainly traffic-free, using bridleways, quiet roads and cycle paths.
